For my final project, I designed a beverage café concept but with a unique twist: every drink is inspired by nature, culture, history, and influential figures. After seeing several real-world café’s do similar things, I wanted to take this idea and make it my own vision by using my favourite skill I learned in Digital Media. I used Photoshop to design four posters with different themes while keeping a unified look. It took a lot of trial and error with tutorials to get the techniques right, however once it was all completed, I couldn’t help but feel proud of myself. This idea captured me because it encourages us as humans to reflect on our world and the history we’ve created, allowing a sense of community. I also learned a lot, too, through the research phase, finding elements that make each inspired drink special.
